Babies & Kids
Listen, with kid 1 we bought this big heavy high chair that had velcro cushions and it was so hard to clean. Food would get stuck all up in the velcro. This time around simple and sturdy was the order of the day. We’ve been really happy with this chair so far and it fits in our house well.
Frankincense Face Oil by Living Libations
Living Libations products are the only thing I ever put on my face. They’re super clean, cruelty free, and they smell like heaven. I used to have a horrible time with my skin, but since changing up my diet and switching to Living Libations products my skin keeps getting better and better. I never breakout anymore!
Silverware by Liberty Tabletop
This is the only silverware manufactured here in the US and made to the highest standards. High quality stainless steel silverware is actually preferable to cheap wood silverware that is often made of wood pulp mixed with toxic wood glue. I considered our Liberty silverware a big investment and have been incredibly happy with it.
Small Beech Wood Bowls by Holland Mills
Cashew Butter by Artisana
It’s pricey! But a little bit goes a long way. I love keeping a jar of this cashew butter on hand to make things extra creamy for my three-year-old. Sometimes if she doesn’t like the tomato sauce or the curry or the whatever it is my husband and I are eating, if I stir a little extra cashew butter in she changes her mind. #momhacks
Almond Flour Crackers by Simple Mills
These almond flour crackers are totally grain free and CRAZY GOOD. Once, I let my kid eat a whole bag in one sitting and she got constipated for the first time in her life. I should have stopped her but the thing is I’ve done that too so I felt like a hypocrite. Anyways, welcome to the dark side.
Tortilla Chips by Siete
These tortilla chips taste like tortilla chips. But they are made of cassava flour (a root sort of like a sweet potato.) I need to be honest here and say I don’t actually think you should by these on Amazon. I just wanted to recommend this brand so you can keep an eye out for them at your local store. But if they don’t have them, by all means be my guest. Oh also, this is the only flavor I recommend. The others have funky added ingredients.
Sweet Potato Noodles
I grew up on these sweet potato noodles that are frequently used in Korean cooking. The only ingredients are sweet potato starch and water! When cooked, the noodles are similar to glass noodles and are perfect for stir fries, soups, and anything else you can think of! There are some varieties with weird preservatives in them out there, so I prefer this brand!
The Good Grind
It’s no secret in this house that I like to grind a little salt and pepper on my food. But with this grinder from Superfood Seasoning, I get a little grind of some turmeric and garlic at the same time. Not even kidding, we call this the crack grinder. We love their other spice blends as well.
